Mais do que acondicionar e proteger um objeto, foram concebidas para permanecer em circulação, incorporando novos usos e criando uma relação de continuidade com quem as recebe.
Bolsas, carteiras ou porta-joias são alguns dos desdobramentos possíveis — transformações que deslocam a embalagem do campo do descartável para o território do design, do uso e da memória.
O projeto nasce da pesquisa do estúdio em torno do papel, sua matéria central, e amplia essa linguagem para outros materiais, como couro, PU sintético e tecidos.
Assim, a embalagem deixa de ser apenas continente para se tornar objeto em si: funcional, afetivo e aberto a novas interpretações.

More than containers designed to protect an object, they were conceived to remain in circulation, taking on new uses and establishing an ongoing relationship with those who receive them.
Bags, wallets, and jewelry cases are some of their possible transformations — shifting packaging away from the disposable and into the realm of design, function, and material memory.
The project grows out of the studio’s ongoing research into paper, its central medium, while expanding this language into other materials such as leather, synthetic PU, and textiles.
In this way, packaging ceases to be merely a container and becomes an object in its own right: functional, meaningful, and open to new interpretations.

Although paper is the material that gave rise to and defines Papelaria’s identity, the studio sees material as a field of exploration — never as a limitation.
